I've noticed that some casino employees have loose mandibles and often convey privileged background information to guests. I'm unable to stop this unprofessional habit, so I can only suggest that you not read too heavily into this information. No-one knows the outcome of an arena match until it happens!
This site is a community tool for the Red Wing Arena. Players share the Hot Tips they receive in-game on the Submit tab; once approved, those tips are pooled for the day. Calculate turns them into win percentages for any matchup — starting from 50/50 and shifting by every relevant tip (matchup tips like Otis +10% vs Corrrak, plus general tips that apply to all of a fighter's fights). Tips stack when they point the same way.
Live shows odds for the current arena fight as soon as the matchup is reported. All Tips lists everything contributed today so you can see what's still missing from the full set of 15. None of this replaces doing your own reading of the slate — it just saves everyone from re-collecting the same information alone.
Arena wagers pay about 1.9× your stake when you win — you keep your bet and pocket roughly 90% profit. Hot tips push matchups away from fair coin flips. When the ledger shows someone at 60%, it's a positive expected value (+EV) bet. If they really win 60% of the time, betting them at the same size every time earns more on wins than you lose on the rest, so you come out ahead on average over many fights.
The Betting Day banner rates how rich today's slate is in those +EV spots (60–40 and stronger) versus skippable 50–50 toss-ups. A strong slate means more fights where steady, same-size bets on the tipped favorite should grind out net profit over time. You're still not guaranteed to win any single fight — variance and upsets are real — but the edge shows up across dozens of bets, not in one roll of the dice.
Bankroll advice: don't wager more than 1/30 of your stack on a single fight. Losing streaks happen even on +EV days, and keeping individual bets small lets you stay in the game long enough for the math to work in your favor.
Each player can get a hot tip from each of the above NPCs with the appropriate favor level. You can get a total of 5 hot tips per day per character. You can get the same hot tip from multiple NPCs (e.g. Otis +10 vs Corrrak from Irkima and Eveline Rastin), and you can get canceling hot tips (e.g. Gloz +5 and Gloz −5). Hot tips reset every day at 9:00 PM PDT. After the reset, the previous day's tips are no longer used and new tips can be obtained by talking to the hot tip NPCs again.
Each day there are 15 unique tips total that can be found. This is why the betting website exists: to work together to collect all 15 unique tips each day.
